Terms of Service

1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the BoxPls platform, including our website (boxpls.sg), mobile applications, and all related services (collectively, the "Platform"), operated by HomeGigs Private Limited (UEN: 202545582W), a company incorporated in Singapore with its registered address at 65 Pavilion View, Singapore ("BoxPls", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. About Our Services
2.1 BoxPls is a technology platform that connects customers ("Customers") who require delivery services with independent delivery partners ("Delivery Partners") who provide transportation and delivery services.
2.2 BoxPls does not itself provide delivery or transportation services. All deliveries are carried out by independent Delivery Partners. BoxPls is not a courier company, logistics provider, or transportation carrier.
2.3 BoxPls facilitates the connection between Customers and Delivery Partners through our Platform, which includes order placement, route optimization, real-time tracking, and payment processing.
3. Account Registration
3.1 To use the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name, email address, phone number, and delivery address(es).
3.2 You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3.3 You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3.4 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms.
4. Service Description
4.1 Single Delivery. A point-to-point delivery service for parcels under 20kg, delivered same-day within Singapore.
4.2 Multi-Stop Delivery. A service that allows multiple pickups and/or dropoffs within a single booking, with AI-optimized routing to reduce costs.
4.3 Delivery timeframes are estimates only. While we aim to deliver within the stated window (typically 1 to 4 hours), we do not guarantee specific delivery times. Factors such as traffic, weather, and driver availability may affect delivery times.
4.4 Our service coverage is limited to Singapore. We do not provide international delivery services.
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Prices for delivery services are displayed on the Platform at the time of booking. The final price may vary based on distance, number of stops, and applicable surcharges (such as zone surcharges).
5.2 All prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
5.3 Payment is processed through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By using the Platform, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. BoxPls does not store your payment card details.
5.4 Payment is collected at the time of booking. Refunds, where applicable, will be processed back to the original payment method.
6. Parcel Requirements
6.1 Weight limit. Parcels must not exceed 20kg.
6.2 Packaging. Customers are responsible for ensuring parcels are properly and securely packaged before pickup. BoxPls and Delivery Partners are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging.
6.3 Prohibited items. The following items are strictly prohibited from delivery through the Platform:
- Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia
- Firearms, ammunition, weapons, or explosives
- Flammable, combustible, or volatile substances (e.g. kerosene, gas canisters, paint thinner, fireworks)
- Corrosive, toxic, or hazardous materials
- Radioactive materials
- Live animals or insects
- Human or animal remains
- Perishable food items requiring temperature control
- Cash, cheques, bearer instruments, or negotiable securities
- Pornographic or obscene materials
- Counterfeit or pirated goods
- Any items prohibited by Singapore law
6.4 Irreplaceable items. Customers may send identity documents, passports, certificates, and other irreplaceable items at their own risk. BoxPls accepts no liability for the loss or damage of such items. We strongly recommend that Customers arrange their own insurance when sending irreplaceable documents.
6.5 BoxPls reserves the right to refuse or cancel any delivery if we have reason to believe the parcel contains prohibited items. Delivery Partners may refuse to collect any parcel they believe contains prohibited items.
6.6 You are solely responsible for the contents of your parcels. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BoxPls and its Delivery Partners from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the contents of your parcels.
7. Liability and Refunds
7.1 Limitation of liability. BoxPls acts as a technology platform connecting Customers and Delivery Partners. Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the Platform is limited to the delivery fee paid for the specific delivery in question.
7.2 Lost or damaged parcels. If a parcel is lost or damaged during delivery due to the fault of the Delivery Partner, and the Customer provides photographic evidence within 7 days of the delivery date, BoxPls will refund the delivery fee paid for that delivery.
7.3 Failed deliveries. If a delivery fails due to reasons attributable to the Customer (e.g. wrong address provided, recipient not available, access issues at the delivery location), no refund will be issued. A re-delivery may be arranged at additional cost.
7.4 Item value. BoxPls is not liable for the value of items delivered. Our liability is limited strictly to the delivery fee. Customers are advised to arrange their own insurance for high-value items.
7.5 No consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, BoxPls shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of goodwill.
7.6 Refund process. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 to 14 business days to the original payment method.
8. Cancellations
8.1 Customers may cancel a delivery before a Delivery Partner has been assigned at no charge.
8.2 Once a Delivery Partner has been assigned, cancellation fees may apply as displayed on the Platform at the time of cancellation.
8.3 BoxPls reserves the right to cancel any delivery at any time for operational reasons, in which case a full refund of the delivery fee will be issued.
9. User Conduct
9.1 You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
- Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other user accounts
- Use the Platform to send prohibited items
- Harass, threaten, or abuse Delivery Partners or BoxPls staff
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Platform
9.2 BoxPls reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the overall design, is the property of HomeGigs Private Limited and is protected by intellectual property laws.
10.2 You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on the Platform without our prior written consent.
11. Privacy
11.1 Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal data.
11.2 By using the Platform, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Disclaimers
12.1 The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. BoxPls makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the reliability, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the Platform.
12.2 BoxPls does not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
12.3 BoxPls does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any Delivery Partner's actions, omissions, or conduct.
13. Indemnification
13.1 You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BoxPls, HomeGigs Private Limited, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
14. Modifications
14.1 BoxPls reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when the revised Terms are posted on the Platform.
14.2 Your continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14.3 We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
15.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
15.2 Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
16. Severability
16.1 If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
